Rostec presented advanced medical solutions at World Health Expo Dubai 2026

Rostec State Corporation presented cutting-edge innovations for diagnostics, treatment and prosthetics at World Health Expo Dubai 2026 — the largest healthcare forum in the Middle East. During the business program, the Corporation’s delegation discussed medical cooperation with partners from the United Arab Emirates, focusing on joint technology development, equipment manufacturing, and the export of Rostec’s advanced medical solutions.
The Russian side at the negotiations was represented by Maxim Vybornykh, Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation; Sergey Tsyb, State Secretary of Rostec State Corporation; Andrey Terekhin, Trade Representative of Russia in the UAE; as well as representatives of the Corporation's enterprises: V/O Soyuzkhimexport, CITO, RT-Medtech, Vancel, and NatsMedTech. Representing the UAE side wereDr. Amin Hussain Al Amiri. Assistant Undersecretary of Health Regulations Sector, Ministry of Health and Prevention; Saeed Mubarak Rashid Al Hajeri, Minister of State and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE); and Fatima Al Kaabi, Director of EDE.
The Rostec delegation informed its foreign colleagues about the latest solutions in the fields of cardiovascular surgery, cancer diagnostics, diabetes management, as well as high-tech prosthetics and rehabilitation options. The practical application of medical products manufactured by the Corporation's enterprises demonstrates their high efficiency, reliability, and demand within the Russian healthcare system.

One of the most striking examples of such innovations is the development of artificial intelligence-powered solutions. The first Russian-made microscope slide scanner, OneCell Scan 3.0 (Onecell Scan), is capable of detecting cancer cells and assisting physicians in making accurate diagnoses. This technology sets a new standard for medical research in Russia. In terms of performance, the device is on par with the best foreign analogues, and in certain aspects even surpasses them. The scanner can operate 24/7 and process nearly 300 histological samples in a single cycle. Last year, the OneCell Scan 3.0 was launched into mass production.
Additionally, the meeting addressed prospects for cooperation in the field of endocrinology. One of the Corporation's latest developments in this area is a continuous glucose monitoring system. NatsMedTech is currently preparing to launch its mass production. In the near future, the manufacturing capacity will reach the output of up to 5 million devices annually. This will fully meet the needs of the Russian healthcare system and create opportunities for exporting the product abroad.
Special emphasis was placed on solutions for cardiovascular surgery. Representatives of the UAE were presented with a sample of Russia's first MRI-compatible pacemaker, which was put into production in 2025 by the enterprise Cardioelektronica. The key advantage of this device is that it allows patients to undergo MRI examinations without restrictions—which was not possible with earlier models.
The Russian side also shared its experience in implementing comprehensive rehabilitation systems and high-tech prosthetics. Within Rostec, the development and production of prosthetics is carried out by the Center for Innovation in Traumatology and Orthopedics (CITO). The branches are now opening throughout Russia. The Center's products have helped thousands of people return to an active life. CITO specialists provide comprehensive patient rehabilitation, including through the use of specialized sports prosthetics that enable activities such as skiing, skating, swimming, weightlifting, and other sports.

World Health Expo Dubai is the largest healthcare and pharmaceutical forum in the Middle East and the second largest in the world. The event is taking place in Dubai from February 9 to 12, 2026. This year, the exhibition has brought together over 235,000 professionals from more than 180 countries. The platform features expositions across nine key healthcare sectors.
