Rostec Supplied 102,000 Units of Medical Equipment in 2025

In 2025, Rostec State Corporation supplied 102,000 units of medical equipment and approximately 92 million units of medical consumables to healthcare institutions in Russia and abroad. The deliveries included innovative diagnostic systems, ventilators, physiotherapy devices, and other advanced medical products widely used in clinical practice.

Medical products are developed and manufactured by 27 enterprises within Rostec’s leading holding companies, including Shvabe, KRET, Roselectronics, and Technodinamika, as well as RT-MedTech JSC, Rostec’s unified center of competence for medical engineering. RT-MedTech coordinates the implementation of the State Corporation’s Medical Engineering Development Program, one of whose primary objectives is the development of new medical devices and their successful commercialization.

In 2025, Shvabe supplied approximately 22,800 units of medical equipment. A particular focus was placed on equipping Russian perinatal centers and maternity hospitals, which received more than 700 units of the holding’s high-tech neonatal equipment. These included neonatal intensive care systems, neonatal care stations, intensive care incubators, and transport incubators designed for the safe transfer of newborns. The equipment enables physicians to provide specialized care for premature infants and newborns with severe medical conditions from the very first minutes of life. For example, the ITN-01 transport incubator maintains optimal environmental conditions for infants while ensuring safe transportation between hospital departments and healthcare facilities, including during mechanical ventilation.

Pacemakers belong to the category of complex Class III medical devices in terms of potential risk of use. Therefore, the effectiveness, safety, and quality of the medical products we manufacture are of paramount importance. According to these criteria, our devices are on par with those of leading global manufacturers, while Cardioelectronics offers a more competitive price. In terms of functionality, the equipment we produce fully meets the current needs of the Russian market and provides effective solutions for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Another Rostec enterprise, POZiS (part of Technodinamika), delivered more than 36,000 units of medical refrigeration and freezing equipment to healthcare institutions, representing a 23% increase compared with the previous year.

Thanks to a high degree of production localization, we are independent of external factors and can guarantee uninterrupted supplies. The availability of finished goods in stock enables us to deliver our equipment to hospitals in the shortest possible time. In addition, we take doctors’ needs into account and develop medical technology based on their requests and practical experience. We are currently implementing a number of joint projects with our partners. In particular, together with the Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, we are developing a new generation of pacemakers.

Among the products supplied by the Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern (KRET) were more than 600 physiotherapy devices, including the Amplipulse-5 low-frequency therapy system and AMTO ophthalmic magnetic therapy devices. Roselectronics also made significant deliveries of physiotherapy equipment, supplying more than 15,000 medical devices, including GESKA portable LED devices with magnetic attachments and AMT-02 Magniter low-frequency magnetic therapy systems.

Rostec enterprises also supplied vacuum blood collection tubes, microtubes, pipette tips, laboratory containers, and other medical consumables for use in laboratories and intensive care units.

Since 2024, the State Corporation has been implementing its Medical Engineering Development Program, which demonstrated strong growth in the medical devices segment over the past year. Our products are in demand not only in Russia but also in international markets, including Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. We currently hold approximately 200 valid medical device registrations. Today, our objective is not only to expand production capacity but also to develop a new generation of medical technologies by integrating digital solutions and artificial intelligence,” said Sergey Chemezov, Chief Executive Officer of Rostec State Corporation.
