RT-Medtech and Bakulev Center will jointly develop domestic cardiac surgery
RT-Medtech of Rostec State Corporation and the A.N. Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation have signed a cooperation agreement. We plan to jointly develop projects in the fields of cardiac surgery, cardiology, and the treatment of heart rhythm disorders. The document was signed on Bioprom-2025 forum.
The document was signed by Sergey Dmitrochenko, General Director of RT-Medtech, and Elena Golukhova, Director of the A.N. Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery.
The agreement covers a wide range of areas, including the development of new technologies and medical devices. The goal of the collaboration is to make medical care more accessible and of higher quality for patients with cardiovascular diseases, as well as to strengthen national security in the healthcare sector.
"The signing of the agreement with the leading national center of cardiovascular surgery is an important step in strengthening cooperation between industry and the medical community. According to expert estimates, over 55,000 patients in Russia annually are in need of cardiac pacemaker implantation. We are confident that combining scientific, clinical, and technological potential will accelerate the implementation of innovative solutions tailored to the needs of Russian patients and doctors. Our task is not only to ensure high quality and accessibility of equipment but also to create conditions for Russia's sustainable technological leadership in the field of cardiac surgery," — noted Sergey Dmitrochenko, General Director of RT-Medtech.

The international forum Bioprom: Industry and Technology for Humanity is taking place on October 6-7, 2025, in Gelendzhik. Rostec State Corporation is the title partner of the forum.
