RT-Medtech and other organizations of the Krasnodar Krai have agreed on cooperation in the field of medical technologies
Rostec's RT-Medtech, Kuban Science Foundation, Krasnodar Krai Industrial Development Fund, and Kuban State Medical University have signed a cooperation agreement on developing the domestic medical device industry. The document was signed on the "Bioprom-2025" forum.
The agreement was signed by Sergey Dmitrochenko, General Director of RT-Medtech; Viktor Anisimov, Director of the Kuban Science Foundation; Dmitry Tsaplev, Director of the Krasnodar Krai Industrial Development Fund; and Sergey Alekseyenko, President of the Kuban State Medical University.
RT-Medical Technologies is a Single Competence Center of the medical equiment manufacturing industry of Rostec State Corporation. Cooperation with organizations from the Krasnodar Krai will create the conditions for breakthrough solutions in healthcare. The university's research teams will have the opportunity to work closely with Rostec's industrial enterprises. This will allow for ideas to be transformed into prototypes more quickly, new products to be introduced into practice, and educational programs for personnel training to be created. The foundations, in turn, will provide project support and facilitate their scaling.
"Today, it is especially important to build integration between industry, science, and education. Together with the Kuban Science Foundation, we are working to identify promising ideas and develop joint solutions for the industry's development. The signed agreement creates a concentrated ecosystem for forming new competencies required in the medical technology sector and accelerates the transformation of scientific ideas into real solutions. We are confident that our joint efforts will not only enhance the country's technological sovereignty but also prepare a new generation of specialists capable of creating and implementing advanced medical products," — commented Sergey Dmitrochenko, General Director of RT-Medtech.
The Kuban Science Foundation is supporting 33 promising scientific and technological projects in the field of medicine that have received grant funding from higher education institutions and scientific establishments in the Krasnodar Krai. The scientific research covers the most critical areas of modern medicine, including fundamental and applied medicine, personalized medicine, high-tech healthcare, health-preserving technologies, and protection against biological threats. The total grant funding from the Kuban Science Foundation amounts to 125 660 000 rubles, with co-financing of 67 130 000 rubles.
"The development of domestic medicine is impossible without a scientific foundation and systematic support for talented researchers. The agreement with RT-Medtech is a step towards creating an environment where scientific developments find practical application, and interaction with industrial partners becomes part of driving innovation," — noted Viktor Anisimov, President of the Kuban Science Foundation.
The international forum "Bioprom: Industry and Technology for Humanity" is taking place on October 6-7, 2025, in Gelendzhik. Rostec State Corporation is the title partner of the forum.
